Last bingo before we go on holiday - Last chance before our summer break to spend a great time together and win great prizes!
WOMEN welcome women on a bingonight Thursday evening, 29 May at 20:00, upstairs on the 3rd floor of the centre. Each bingo game card cost kr.100. Coffee and cakes. Great prizes, gift vouchers and theatre tickets!

Festival of Nations next Saturday
Festival of Nations next Saturday at the Sports Arena at Strandgata in Hafnarfjörður between 12:00-18:00. The annual festival is only a few days away. All booths have been assigned and entertainment will run throughout the whole day. We are looking forward to see all of you that day enjoying a variety of food, music, dance and multicultural experiences from all over the world.

Icelandic courses are beginning in June – registration has started
This summer The Intercultural Centre offers courses in Icelandic. The courses are open to everybody and will take place both in the evening and during the day. To sign up please call 5309316 or email audur@ahus.is.



New edition of Eins og FÓLK is out
The Intercultural centre's magazine, Eins og FÓLK er flest, is out. Packed with interesting material for immigrants and about immigrant issues. FÓLK will be distributed in Krónan and Bonus and Olis all over the country, to subscribers and institutions. You can also find it at the Intercultural Centre or download it at www.ahus.is.


Introduction to cultural life!
The Division of Culture and Tourism of the city of Reykjavik together with The Intercultural Centre seeks people to take on an interesting task. If you know the centre of Reykjavik well, speak English, Spanish, or Polish as well as Icelandic and if you are outgoing and enjoy being with people, are interested in history and want to take part in a fun project, which involves introducing the cultural life of Reykjavik to foreigners who live in Reykjavik, please contact Kristin R.
