Open house

This Friday in the open house we will have Tibetan evening in The Intercultual Centre, Laugavegi 37 (alley). We will watch a film about Tibet and then people from tibetan association in Iceland will tell us about Tibet and about their group.

Story circle for women

Story circle for women will be in the City Library (Borgarbókasafn), Tryggvagötu 15, on sonday the 5th of desember, at 15 hrs. Special guest will be Kjuregei Alezandra Argunova, artist.

Friends of Tibet

Tsewang Namgyal will give a speech about Tibet next Friday at 8PM at Open house in the basement of Ahus, Laugavegur 37 (alley).
We will have an open meeting for all members of Friends of Tibet next Sunday night at 8PM in the basement of Ahus - everyone is welcome. The aim of the meetings is to get together those of us who like to shape the future of Friends of Tibet together since we don´t have our weekly protest meetings anymore. I guess most of our members are aware of the fact that H.H. the Dalai Lama will be coming to Iceland 1st of June next year:) It would be great if we can organise event in connection with his arrival to our island, that might spark interest among fellow islanders in regard of Tibetan history, culture and the current situation there.

Film from Poland

The Polish Consul General would like to invite you to see the polish comedy "LEJDIS” the 11. and 18. of November at 20 o’clock, at Skúlatún 2, Reykjavík. There are not too many seats available so we kindly ask you to pick up tickets at our office. The tickets can be picked up in Skúlatún 2, from Monday till Friday between 9 -12 and on Wednesdays between 15 – 18.
